We love dancing.

It was cool in the air but the pool was at 25 degrees ! 

So much fun with room 3! 

Roll on Summer. we look forward to being back in the pool in February to learn all about  Swim Safe !

A Lion Hunt and Jump Jam with Kindy!

We had fun with the Roskill South Kindy kids when they all came down to Waikowhai for a visit this week. 

We shared all the lovely children between the Junior classes, with stories and adventures inside, then joined the whole school for a Santa Jump Jam!

Room 1 loved making masks to go on a lion hunt!

We tried to make a mirror image of each other. 

Whatever action one did, the other had to copy, but on the opposite side.

Super shape work on tessellating!

We have been using our 2D shapes to make patterns that can fit together. 

We printed squares so there were no gaps showing. 

Our shape patterns on the carpet created lots of ideas....

We were very lucky this week to learn about being safe on the road, and how to cross the road safely. We learned this song....
