We loved the story of the 10 baggy clowns in Do Whacky Do!

Hooray! Our new classrooms are ready at last!

We were lucky to visit the new ILE classrooms for our Year 5 and 6 children today after the official opening by Michael Wood MP. 

We sang outside, even if it was a little chilly, and then took off our shoes to walk through the lovely classrooms. 

We were very impressed by the colours and the beautiful new furniture. Year 5 and 6 are very lucky!

For our Inquiry, we decided to choose a person at school that we did not know a lot about! For Starter knowledge we wrote down what we knew already, Mrs Peterson works in the office, talks to us, visits us, and gives out the certificates in assembly. Now it's time for questions....

Today we looked at what we had brought to school for lunch.

We sorted the food into different circles. 

We found lots of sandwiches and fruit. 

Charlie and Alex were having sushi today too!

We have been busy looking at ways to sort. We found lots of shapes in different colours. We found we could sort for 2, and sometimes 3 different ways. 

Have a go at home trying to sort things, maybe cutlery when washing up, or toys when tidying up before bedtime.
