Juniors Visit To Kelly Tarltons!

We had an awesome day on Tuesday when we all went to Sea Life at Kelly Tarltons in the city.
A super bus ride, then we arrived, all very excited!

We saw all the fantastic sea creatures that live in our oceans, and thought a lot about the things that should not be there......

Pollution is our thinking for the next few weeks on our Inquiry, how can we stop the amount of plastics littering our seas?

Have a look at our photos, and then call back soon to see our inventions for cleaning up the sea.

  1. Hi Room 1, Mr Lunn here from Hay Park School. Kelly Tarltons is fantastic isn't it? I can see how that would connect to your inquiry really well. Did you guys have the educators give you a lesson about the plastic and other harmful things going into the environment? Was really shocking for us to see when we went. Best of luck with the rest of your inquiry!

You can check out the learning in our class with this link.

    1. Hi Mr Lunn, thank you for your comments! Sorry we have not replied to you and your class. We are only new entrants and all 5 years old, but we are learning to blog with our teacher! We loved going to Kelly Tarltons, now we are working on trying to think of ways of getting those horrible plastic bags out of the Ocean. Do you have any good ideas to share? We look forward to hearing from you......

What you could think of next time is, you could add a little reflection or write a little bit about whether you enjoyed it or not. Other than that, you did awesome.
