Our Trip To The Maritime Museum in Auckland City!

Take a look at the awesome photos of our time at the museum.

We found out all about floating and sinking, and even managed to get 6 pretend cars onto a tinfoil boat!
Great design Bella, Maddy and Paityn's group.

We even got a go on the playground in the Wynyard Quarter, that was before it started to rain. Nevermind, we still had lots of fun!

All ready for the day of floating action!

We loved the turtle shells and the shark rattle.

We saw and heard a real cannon go off at midday outside.. not as big as this one  though....

Emma showing us what would and wouldn't float

Float that foil boat and load it up!

Playground fun

It was amazing to see the sea under the floor!

  1. Room 1 you were super scientists on this trip! Six pieces of plastecine - that was amazing! I loved the way you all worked together when hunting around the museum. And everybody was very brave when we got rained on. It was such a fun day!

  3. Looks as though you had heaps of fun Room 1. I see things in your photos that we didn't see. I will have to go back to the museum and explore again.
